ELSFP Polarization Extinction Ratio Test System
The CUBE-ER100-ELSFP Polarization Extinction Ratio (PER) Measurement Set is a high-accuracy test solution designed for high-power ELSFP and other narrow-linewidth laser modules with polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber outputs.
ELSFP lasers present a challenge for conventional polarimeters due to their narrow linewidth and long coherence length, imiting accuracy, repeatability, and confidence in polarization characterization.
The CUBE-ER100-ELSFP is purpose-built to deliver reliable and repeatable PER and polarization axis measurements under these challenging conditions.

Description
The system measures PER using a direct, rotating-polarizer method, avoiding wavelength-dependent Stokes reconstruction. To improve measurement reliability, the PM test fiber between the laser under test and the PER meter is thermally cycled, enabling stable and repeatable evaluation of PER and polarization axis behavior across operating conditions.
